Business Impact
2

Minor improvement. Small efficiency gain with limited effect on overall turnover or bottom line.

Feasibility
4

Relatively straightforward. Off-the-shelf tools handle the core task. Implementation is well-understood with good examples to follow.

Data Readiness
3

Moderate data needs. Works with data most businesses hold, but will likely need consolidation, cleaning, or reformatting before use.

Risk Exposure
3

Moderate risk. Some customer or external exposure. Errors create rework or reputational impact but are recoverable.

Change Complexity
4

Light people impact. A new tool slots into an existing workflow. Minimal training needed. Most people will adapt quickly.

Things to consider

  • Claims are usually delayed or reduced because evidence is missing, not because the claim is weak. A completeness check at submission is where most of the value sits.

  • Everything submitted to an insurer must be accurate. Have the model assemble and flag, never characterise or estimate — an AI-worded description of an incident that differs from the incident report creates an inconsistency the insurer will use.

  • Policy wordings differ on notification deadlines. Encode the notification clock per policy and alert on it, because a late notification can void an otherwise good claim.

  • Experiment starter: Review your last twenty claims for time from incident to submission and for insurer queries received. Pilot assembly and completeness checking on the next ten and compare both numbers.
