Data subject access request processing
Locate, collate, and redact personal data across systems in response to a subject access request, producing a candidate response pack for the data protection officer to review and release.

reduction in DSAR fulfilment effort
Opportunity assessment
Minor improvement. Small efficiency gain with limited effect on overall turnover or bottom line.
Moderate effort. Requires configuration, prompt engineering, and testing. A capable team can get there but expect several months.
Demanding data requirements. Relies on clean, integrated data across multiple systems. Significant data preparation work typically needed.
High risk. Significant external exposure or regulatory implications. Requires robust oversight and clear accountability.
Light people impact. A new tool slots into an existing workflow. Minimal training needed. Most people will adapt quickly.

Things to consider
UK GDPR gives you one month to respond, extendable to three for complex requests. The statutory clock, not cost, is what makes this worth automating — a missed deadline is a reportable failure.
Redaction of third-party personal data is the highest-risk step. Over-redaction is recoverable; under-redaction is a personal data breach caused by your response to a data protection request.
Coverage across systems matters more than speed within one system. A fast, confident response that missed a whole platform is worse than a slow, complete one.
Experiment starter: Re-run three completed DSARs through the tooling and compare what it finds against what was released. Anything it surfaces that the manual process missed is a finding you need to act on regardless of whether you adopt the tool.

Contract review and clause risk flagging
Review inbound contracts against the company's playbook of acceptable positions, flagging non-standard clauses — liability caps, indemnities, termination, auto-renewal — with the preferred alternative wording.
NDA triage and standard-term approval
Automatically assess inbound NDAs against a pre-approved position, approve those that match, and escalate only the ones with material deviations, with the deviations highlighted.
Legal research and precedent summarisation
Summarise relevant legislation, regulator guidance, and internal precedent for a specific question, with citations, giving the in-house team a researched starting point rather than a blank page.
