The quality of the output is set entirely by the quality of your historic spec library. If the library contains inconsistent tolerances and superseded standards, the model will propagate them at speed.
Errors in a tech pack are expensive and slow to surface — you find them at sample stage, weeks later, in a different country. Keep technologist sign-off mandatory and track which fields get corrected most often.
Start with a product family where construction is stable and variation is mostly in fabric and trim. Complex or novel construction is where the model will confidently invent plausible nonsense.
Experiment starter: Take twenty recently completed tech packs. Regenerate them from the original briefs and have a senior technologist mark each field as correct, minor correction, or wrong. If wrong fields are under 5% and concentrated in predictable places, roll out with those fields flagged for mandatory review.
