Product data readiness for AI shopping agents
Structure product data, availability, and policy content so that AI shopping assistants and answer engines can read, compare, and recommend your products accurately when customers ask them.

Opportunity assessment
Moderate impact. Meaningful cost or revenue improvement, likely noticeable at function level but modest relative to total business scale.
Moderate effort. Requires configuration, prompt engineering, and testing. A capable team can get there but expect several months.
Demanding data requirements. Relies on clean, integrated data across multiple systems. Significant data preparation work typically needed.
Low risk. Limited external exposure. A human reviews output before it reaches anyone outside the team.
Light people impact. A new tool slots into an existing workflow. Minimal training needed. Most people will adapt quickly.

Things to consider
A growing share of product discovery now starts in an assistant rather than a search box, and the assistant can only recommend what it can parse. Structured product markup, accurate availability, and machine-readable returns and delivery policy are the entry ticket.
Inaccurate structured data is worse than none, because an assistant that tells a customer an item is in stock when it is not creates a service failure you never see coming.
This is largely unglamorous data hygiene rather than an AI build. The AI's role is generating and validating the structured attributes at catalogue scale.
Experiment starter: Ask three leading assistants ten realistic buying questions in your category and record whether your products appear and whether the details are correct. Fix the data behind the worst failures and re-test in a month.

Product categorisation at scale
Automatically assign products to the correct site taxonomy categories using title, description, and attributes. Removes a bottleneck on new product onboarding.
Site search query analysis
Analyse search queries for intent, gaps, and failed searches. Identify where customers can't find what they want and prioritise catalogue improvements.
A/B test copy generation
Generate multiple headline, CTA, and banner copy variants for testing. Covers different value propositions, tones, and lengths with a single brief.
