A/B test copy generation
Generate multiple headline, CTA, and banner copy variants for testing. Covers different value propositions, tones, and lengths with a single brief.
60–80%
reduction in test variant creation time
Opportunity assessment
Minor improvement. Small efficiency gain with limited effect on overall turnover or bottom line.
Very easy to implement. Ready-to-use tools exist. Can be up and running in days or weeks with minimal technical resource.
Minimal data complexity. Works with whatever is readily to hand. No special data infrastructure needed. Most businesses can start immediately.
Low risk. Limited external exposure. A human reviews output before it reaches anyone outside the team.
Very easy to absorb. Runs quietly in the background or gives people a helpful new input. Makes everyday work easier with almost no friction.

Things to consider
JPMorgan Chase trained AI on historical marketing data to generate copy variations for credit card and home loan campaigns, tested against human-written control versions in real-time A/B tests (Ahrefs).
The brief quality determines the variant quality — give the AI the audience, the objective, the product/page, and the tone. Vague briefs produce vague variants.
Generate 6-8 variants and let the team select 2-3 for testing: more options, less AI-to-launch time.
Track test performance and feed learnings back into future prompts — over time you build institutional knowledge about what works for your audience.
The real efficiency gain is running more tests more frequently, not just creating variants faster. If AI removes the copy bottleneck, reset your testing cadence expectations upwards.
Experiment starter: For the next planned A/B test, generate copy variants using an LLM instead of briefing a copywriter. Run the test as normal. If AI variants perform within 10% of recent manually-written variants on your primary conversion metric, the workflow change is justified.
