False positive rates matter as much as detection rates. Blocking 5% of legitimate transactions to catch 1% more fraud is a net loss. Measure both.
Fraud patterns evolve constantly — a model trained on last year's fraud will miss this year's tactics. The system needs continuous retraining on recent data.
