Business Impact
2

Minor improvement. Small efficiency gain with limited effect on overall turnover or bottom line.

Feasibility
4

Relatively straightforward. Off-the-shelf tools handle the core task. Implementation is well-understood with good examples to follow.

Data Readiness
4

Light data requirements. Uses straightforward inputs — documents, product descriptions, customer records — that are usually accessible with minimal prep.

Risk Exposure
4

Low risk. Limited external exposure. A human reviews output before it reaches anyone outside the team.

Change Complexity
5

Very easy to absorb. Runs quietly in the background or gives people a helpful new input. Makes everyday work easier with almost no friction.

Things to consider

  • Continuity plans fail because they are out of date, not because they were badly written. Automating the refresh against current systems, suppliers, and contacts addresses the real failure mode.

  • Generated exercise scenarios are genuinely useful — they avoid the tendency to rehearse the disruption the team already knows how to handle.

  • A plan nobody has practised is a document. Use the drafting saving to fund more frequent exercises, not to produce longer plans.

  • Experiment starter: Generate a playbook for a scenario you have not planned for — a key supplier failure, say — and run a two-hour desktop exercise against it. The gaps the exercise exposes tell you how good the draft was.
